Timeline editing
Build the rhythm, layer picture and sound, and refine the result without leaving the main workspace.
Video and audio tracks
Higher video tracks composite over lower tracks. Audio tracks mix unless muted or soloed. The active sequence is the boundary for editing, markers, snapping, selection, and preview.
- Video tracks: reorder, add, show or hide, target, and lock
- Dedicated Speech, Music, and SFX tracks with quick Add actions
- Audio tracks: mute, solo, and lock controls
- Clips: enable, lock, copy, paste, cut, duplicate, move, trim, split, and delete
Build an edit
- Drag an asset from the library onto a compatible track.
- Move the clip or drag its head or tail. VibeMe validates source bounds, overlap, track type, and locks before committing the change.
- Place the playhead and press S to split a selected clip.
- Use N to toggle snapping and M to add a sequence marker.
- Use Ctrl+Z or Ctrl+Shift+Z to undo or redo committed changes.
- Use the scene strip below the timeline to move between storyboard scenes or play them continuously.
Create directly for the timeline
The Add controls on Speech, Music, and SFX tracks open the right creation tool with the target track and playhead position already selected. Visual creation can also start from the timeline. When new sound overlaps existing sound, choose whether to overwrite the covered part, replace touched clips, or keep both in a new subtrack.
Transform, color, titles, and audio
Use the Inspector to adjust clip position, scale, crop, opacity, color, audio level and fades, keyframe interpolation, transitions, and title styling. The Program Monitor and export compiler consume the same normalized creative model.
- Animate parameters with Hold, Linear, Ease In, Ease Out, or Ease In/Out keyframes.
- Use Cross Dissolve or Dip to Black as editable transitions.
- Drag supported visual content directly in the Program Monitor to position it.
- Use preview quality Auto, Full, 1/2, or 1/4 when balancing quality and playback performance.
Durable editing behavior
Visible mutations are serialized and revision-checked. The Saved indicator appears only after the edit queue is empty. Generated media is nondestructive: removing it from a sequence does not automatically delete the downloaded asset from disk.
